Frequently asked questions about our Battery Repair services.
You should inspect your batteries regularly to make sure they’re in good shape. They can last up until five years, but the life cycle may vary depending on brand and type of battery – as well as extreme temperatures that affect its performance too! Some signs you might need a new one include difficulty starting an engine or any electrical problems like bulging cases; if this happens then talk with Quick Lane about testing and possibly replacing.
There won’t be any one-size-fits-all battery for every car or truck. The type, size, terminal, cranking amps or amp-hour all come into a factor which type of battery you will need to ensure a proper fit and full functionality of a vehicle’s battery.
If you’re unsure of what type of battery you need feel free to visit or reach out to us and we’ll be happy to help!
When you buy a new car battery, it’s typically ready to go as soon as possible.
A good rule to follow is to typically start inspecting your vehicle battery more frequently following three years of owning it. We typically do two tests, one with our eyes and the other a load test.
If you’re uncomfortable with either please come visit us at Quick Lane North.
